Betsy Farrar is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor and completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Lindenwood University. Betsy works with adult women and specializes in the areas of self-esteem, anxiety, self-compassion, body image, relationship struggles, grief, and life transitions. With a background in yoga instruction and mindfulness, Betsy collaboratively works with clients as they heal and transform their lives. Through her warm and welcoming style, she holds space for others as they process their deepest pains, hopes, and longings. Her approach aims to create more cohesion between the mind, body, and spirit while addressing the obstacles her clients face. Through a trauma-informed lens, Betsy personalizes her approach to meet the needs of those she is honored to work with and walk alongside.
In Betsy’s words, therapy is…
Therapy is a sacred space to explore your unique, mysterious, and complex internal world. Therapy invites us to reconnect to our authentic self, honor our stories, and develop skills to navigate life’s challenges with more ease. It is a place to tend to perpetual wounds and cultivate deeper self- compassion. From this place, we can gain footing and move forward in new healing and transformative ways.
